EXPLORE ST. BARNABAS

Imagine one day you are worshiping in your church home. The next it is being uprooted, disbanded, and destroyed for the sake of a highway. This is the real experience of the parishioners of St. Barnabas. Please consider how this loss must have felt to the community as you participate in this journey and reflect on the ways in which parishioners had to adjust their lives after this change.

RECOMMENDED ROUTE:

A PRAYER FOR St. BARNABAS

WRITTEN BY THE REV. MAGGIE ROURK

Gracious God, we remember with joy and thanksgiving your people who claimed the name and lived the example of your apostle St. Barnabas. Help us always to hold them and their ministry in blessed memory. By the Spirit's power, strengthen us to be just such servants of the Gospel with their faith and courage, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
